Yes. The multi user version of Photobase comes with local network access capability and is licenced for up to 5 simultaneous users for larger businesses.

To access Photobase over a local network (ie. over WiFi in your studio) you will need a copy of Filemaker Pro 11 to access the file using the 'Open Remote' dialog. Aslong as Photobase is running on another mac on the same network two people will be able to access and use Photobase as normal. (Although you are unable to work on the same client file simultaneously).
